First try tightening the bolt on the wheel as this may not be tight enough.

Next we would recommend to remove the wheel from the scooter and push in the bearings as far into the wheel as possible. There's a mechanism inside the wheel that powers the LED lights. If the bearings are not touching the mechanism the lights will not work.

The next step would be to remove the bearings on the wheel and to put these back on, making sure that they are parallel with each other.

You can find steps on how to do the above HERE.

It's unusual to experience a fault with the screw and clasp however it is important to close the clasp correctly when setting up the scooter. If the clasp is not closed correctly vibrations caused by the scooter being in motion can lead to the nut loosening.

When closing the clasp first make sure that the pin is pushed fully into the recess on the scooter. Once this is done you will need to tighten the nut first before closing the clasp. When you then close the clasp it will tighten grip, keeping the handlebars securely in place.

When closing the clasp make sure to close this down towards the ground, this will help to keep the pin in the recess.

Potentially the height adjust button may have got caught inside the T-bar and will need to be adjusted so it pops out of the T-bar.

For help on how to do this follow the steps HERE.

If you are not able to locate the height adjust button this may have come off the scooter all together.

Before purchasing a new button from our PARTS SHOP, there are a few things to look at to get your scooter back to perfect working condition.

Contact our CUSTOMER SERVICE team who will be happy to help further. They will ask for some photos of areas of your scooter and will advise the best next steps once they have these.

It's best to check the scooter first yourself to see if the steering is working correctly.

When standing still on the scooter, if you tilt the handlebars to the left do the wheels turn to the left and if you tilt the handlebars to the right do the wheels turn right?

If the wheels are turning left and right with the handlebars the mechanism will be working fine. If this is the riders first time at operating a tilt to turn mechanism it may take a little while to get the hang of this. We would always recommend to practice indoors steering left to right while the scooter is stationary and then to gradually build this up to steering while the scooter is in motion.

After a little practice they will be experts in no time!

If the handlebars are tilted left and right and the wheels remain in the same position there will be a problem with the steering spring.

If you purchased your scooter within the last 2 years please GET IN TOUCH with us and we will send you a free steering spring free of charge under warranty. Instructions on how to replace the steering spring can be found HERE.

If you are outside of your warranty period you can purchase a replacement steering spring from our PARTS SHOP. Instructions on how to replace the spring are found HERE.

When operating the folding mechanism we would always recommend to hold the handlebars and your hips so that you can do this with more ease.

If you are holding the scooter correctly and it's still not opening or closing easily, try the steps in the link HERE.

If none of these steps help to resolve this for you please GET IN TOUCH so we can help you further.
